Wellness & Community

Wellness & Community Connect is a holistic program designed to promote overall wellbeing and foster community building through both digital and in-person components. It offers online wellness webinars, a community forum, and a resource library, alongside in-person wellness events, sports activities, and accountability partnerships. Participants receive professional advice from wellness, mental health, and nutrition experts, and engage in goal-oriented projects and networking events to build a supportive community. The program aims to encourage healthy habits, provide expert support, and strengthen community bonds.

Kaay Fipu

Kaay Fipu, meaning “Come defend yourself” in Wolof, is an initiative that leverages kickboxing as a strategic tool to empower women and young people while contributing to the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV). Kay Fipu uses kickboxing to help women and young people reclaim their strength, build confidence, and learn how to protect themselves—physically and mentally.The project was launched during the 16 Days of Activism i Against GBV  in 2023  and will be implemented through quarterly, structured activities focused on self-defense training, physical and mental well-being, and community engagement withe the partnership of the Senegalease federation Of Kickboxing and associate Discipline. Kaay Fipu aims to strengthen participants’ confidence, resilience, creating safe spaces where participants can heal, grow, and stand together against violence
