Usawa League began as a dream one I had long before I had the words or the resources to make it real.
As a young girl, I dreamed of a platform where women and youth across Africa could be seen, supported, and empowered. A space where sport would open doors to opportunity, connection, and personal growth on and off the court. That platform did not exist for me then, so I made the decision to build it.
Usawa League exists to equip young Africans with the skills they need to thrive as athletes, leaders, and advocates for change. Through sport, mentorship, and community, we aim to empower a new generation to believe in their potential and use their voices to create impact.
This is the platform I once dreamed of. Today, it stands for every young person who deserves access, opportunity, and the power to become the best version of themselves.
